We are investing on behalf of a highly experienced and internationally well-established group of investors who are actively involved in the sourcing and analysis of our investment opportunities. Our principals have professional backgrounds in private equity, venture capital and public financial markets.
We provide growth capital for businesses throughout their corporate lifecycle: From early stage financings of founder-led companies in high growth industries, to joint investments in growth capital raises to investments in more fully developed sectors with idiosyncratic value creation potential. We combine our investments with support on business strategy, acquisitions, development of joint ventures and on value-maximizing exits and play an active role through board positions.
In the past decade, we have actively worked with a number of exciting start-up and scale up companies as well as market-leading players, in Germany, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe.
In real estate, we have evaluated and invested in a number of development and transformation projects and evaluation throughout Europe.
We also invest indirectly through managers with an edge and proven track record in the hedge fund, venture capital and private equity space globally.

Wolfgang leads the activities of HH GP as Senior Managing Director. Prior to his involvement with HH GP, Wolfgang had an outstanding career in the semiconductor industry. In 1990, he co-founded Mazet GmbH (“Mazet”), a leading as electronic color and spectral sensor systems specialist, and lead the company until its sale in 2016. Mazet’s products are used in a wide array of applications, including airplane interior lighting, agricultural sensors, and medical skin lesion analysis. In 2016, Wolfgang managed the sale of Mazet to ams AG, a global leader of high performance sensors and analog ICs with EUR 2bn in market capitalization in 2016. The strategic acquisition extended ams’ market leadership in advanced optical sensors and strengthened ams’ position in emerging optical sensing applications.
Prior to co-founding Mazet, Wolfgang worked as a chip designer and software developer at VEB Mikroelektronik Erfurt and was significantly involved in various strategic and high profile development projects. Wolfgang studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Ilmenau and completed his doctorate and habilitation at the Technical University of Dresden on topics related to microelectronics, he was also member of the supervisory board of IMMS, Research Institute for Microelectronical and Mechatronical Systems at the Technical University of Ilmenau.
During his free time, Wolfgang is a competitive long-distance offshore regatta sailor.
